Direct Access to Bank Negara Via Telelink
While it will still take some time for the public to enjoy a greater access to Bank Negara through the soon-to-be-completed upgraded BNM’s KTM Komuter station, but in a swift move, public can now gain a fast access to BNM via the newly launched Telelink hotline. Telelink is the contact point set-up by BNM to help public on matters related to financial sector.
By calling this number; 1-300-88-5465, public can now talk to representative of BNM, specifically on the following 6 areas: banking, insurance, foreign exchange, CCRIS/credit report, SME and others. My previous experience with BNM was very positive, it not only responded to my query, but also forwarded the issue to the related bank and because of that, I received a prompt reply by that bank.
Earlier I make a call to ‘test’ the hotline and it was pick-up and answered promptly. Good job to BNM.
